IMPORTANT NOTICE!!!!!

A "Knife and Black Powder Permission Form" is REQUIRED for all Young Bucks (17 & under) to take part in Black Powder, Archery, Knife & Hawk.  Knife and Black Powder Permission Form.  It is the responsibility of the Old Timers accompanying Young Bucks to ensure YBs have the form and turn them in to registration.

FCF ADVENTURE

February 5-6, 2026

We are going totally digital this year for registration.  The only piece of paper a candidate will need is their medical form.  Please be aware that when a candidate registers they will need name and email of their Outpost Coordinator and their Pastor.  Both the Outpost Coordinator and Pastor will receive emails they must respond to with their approval.  The good news is, if you have multiple candidates from one outpost, they can all be registered at the same time, just like Pow Wow.

Once a candidate registration has been submitted, a confirmation email will be sent to them along with the Candidate Letter explaining where they need to be and what they need to bring.  Remember, candidates will be lodging with their outpost/sponsor.  If they don't have lodging let Marcus Smith or Jim Hornbuckle know so that we can arrange lodging.  I recommend candidates arrive fed as their dinner will not until about 9pm.  The chapter will be feeding them dinner on Thursday, breakfast and lunch on Friday.  Trace registration is included in the candidate registration, there is no need to register candidates for Trace.

TRACE

February 6-8, 2026

This year we have a new item for the Mission's Auction, the President's Mystery Box.  Some of the Seminole Chapter Presidents are donating items to be placed inside a wooden box, that will be closed and sealed until the auction winner breaks the seal.  We will also be featuring Young Buck only auctions!

There will be a new set up for the Black Powder range. Rifles will be available for those who want to shoot black powder and don’t have a gun themselves. Black Powder Shooter’s card and waiver are required.

There will be a big prize for the overall young buck winner!

Our own Jim Free, will be delivering the messages.  Please pray for him and the camp in general.  Come expecting to hear from the Lord.

Black Powder Shooter's Course

February 20-21

This event is opened to Royal Rangers and family. In order to shoot a muzzle-loader on any FCF Range or FCF event you must complete an NRA or NMLRA Black Powder safety course.

Items that will be provided: Pens or pencils, Highlighters, Course materials, Shooting supplies, Safety gear: Eye
protection and Hearing protection.

What to Bring: Clothes for overnight, Clothes to wear on the range…may get hot or cold and dirty, Sunscreen or bug
spray for the range, Bedding for the bunks…staying in the Lodge, A full stomach on Friday night, District Medical
Form, Knife and Black powder permission form (youth only). DO NOT BRING GUNS OR AMMO.

CHECK-IN: Friday Feb 20 th 7:00pm until 8:00pm (DO NOT BE LATE or you will miss critical information)
DEPARTURE: Saturday Feb 21 st (Approx. 2pm to 4pm)

INSTRUCTION TIME:
• Friday – 8PM until 11PM
• Saturday – 8AM until 4PM
